The day of Ashora' Mawlana Sheikh congratulates all brothers and sisters all over the world for the Blessed day of Ashora'. May Allah give us His blessings and goodness for now and always. Supervision Group (posted 13 Dec 2010)

Imam Tabary, in his middle and large books, related to the Prophet [PPBUH] that he said: (Your Lord has gift days through out the time. You should get exposed to it, because you may get a gift of it, then you will never be unhappy after that). i.e. you will not enter Hell. We are having the memory of a great day (Ashora'), the tenth day of the Arabic month [Muharram]. We hope to be of the people exposed to this day. They said a lot about this day, narrated by al-Bokhary, Muslim, an-Nisa'i, and others. One of the Hadith told by al-Bokhary related to Ibn Abbas [AAT] that: When the Prophet [PPBUH] came to Medina, He found that they fast a day - he meant Ashora' - and they said its a great day, its the day in which Allah saved Moses and drowned the Pharaoh family. So Moses fasted that day as a thanks offering to Allah. The Prophet [PPBUH] said: (I am more entitled to Moses), then he fasted that day and ordered it to be fasted.
Imam Ahmed narrated from Abo-Katada that: The Prophet [PPBUH] was asked about the fasting of the day of Arafa and He said: (Expiatory of two years), and about the fasting of the day of Ashora' and He said: (Expiatory of one year). So with the fasting of this day you have an expiatory of a year. Imam Ahmed, in his Mosnad, related to Aisha [AAH] that she said: The Prophet [PPBUH] used to tell us to fast the day of Ashora' before Ramadan. Then when Ramadan was imposed, we would fast Ashora' or not as we wanted. i.e. Ashora' was a supererogatory. Abo-Haiyan, the Andalusian, stated, in his book: the Vast Sea, that Allah accepted the repentance of Adam on Ashora' day. Imam as-Sayouti narrated, in his book: the Scattered Pearls in the Interpretation with the Narrations, from ibn Abi-Hatem that Ali [AAH] said: the people of Yunis were pardoned on Ashora' day. imam az-Zamakhshary , in his book: the Explorer, and Imam ibn Katheir, in his interpretation, said that sayyduna Noah [PBUH] landed with those with him in the ark on Ashora' day.
But the big Islamic event of that day is the memory of the martyrdom of Imam al-Husein [AAH] the grandson of the Prophet [PPBUH] and His sweet basil. He was 56 years of age and it was Friday the tenth of Muharram (the Day of Ashora') of the year 61 H.
He [AAH] was born on the 5th of Sa'ban of the 4th year of Hijra. On his birth the Prophet [PPBUH] put in his mouth a little part of a date that He chewed, blew in his mouth, prayed for him, and named him Husein. His body [AAH] looked very much like the Prophet [PPBUH]. He live with the Prophet [PPBUH] for five years before the Prophet [PPBUH] passed away. Ibn Omar [AAT] was once sitting in the shadow of al-Ka'ba and he saw al-Husein [AAH] coming, so he said: The most loved one of the people of earth by the people of heaven. His wives and children [AAT]: Sayyda Sulafa, her name in Farsi was Shah Zanan which means the queen of women, was the daughter of Yazdgerd ibn Anow-Sherwan the king of Fares. She gave him his son, Imam Ali the youngest whose nickname was Abo-Mohamed Zain al-Abedin. Sayyda Layla bent Abo-Morra ibn Orwa ibn Masoud ath-Thaqafi, snd she gave him his son, Ali the oldest. Sayyda Fouda'a, who gave him his son Ja'far.
Sayyda Om-Ishac bent Talha ibn Obaid-Allah at-Tamimiya. She gave him his daughter Fatema an-Nabawiya. From his sayings [AAH]: You should know that people 's needs of you, are the blessings of Allah to you. So do not get bored with it, as it would turn into curses. And know that a favor gets you thank and reword. So if you see the favor as a man you would see a beautiful man gives joy to whoever looks at him. And if you see the meanness as a man you would see an ugly man who repels the hearts and cast down the eyes. He also said [AAH]: Whoever would be generous, he would be master. Whoever would be stingy, he would be humiliated. Whoever was quick with something good to his brother, he would find it tomorrow when he comes to his Lord. So Allah accept him and all our masters Ahl-al-Bait the purified and all the wives of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH] and all his companions and followers to the day of Judgment.

Sayydi Ali Zain al-Abidin [AAH]
sayydi Ali Zain al-Abidin [AAH] is the son of Mawlana Imam al-Husain [AAH]. He was born in Holy Medina on Thursday the fifth of Sa'ban of the year 38 H, during the caliphate of his grandfather Ali ibn Abi-Talib [AAH] two years before he passed away. His nickname is Abo-al-Hasan, but some said Abo-Mohammad or Abo-Bakr. He had many surnames, the most famous of them are: Zain al-Abidin, master of al-Abidin, the Pure, the Honest, the one with the expenses.
He was famous [AAH] for worshiping, asceticism, and prostration before Allah until he was called Zain al-Abidin and Zain as-Soggad. The following are some of what is narrated about him [AAH]: Once he was sick, there came to visit him a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]; they said to him: "How are you today, O son of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]? May we give our lives for yours". He said: "I am in Allah's good health, thanks to Allah. So how have you become, all?" They said: "O, son of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]. We became loving and sympathetic for you." He said: "Whoever loves us for the sake of Allah, then Allah will inhabit him in a shaded comfortable place on the day, where no shade but His. Whoever loves us wanting to reword us, then Allah will reword him for us with paradise. Whoever loves us to get some of the worldly life, then Allah will provide for him from where he would not expected." One day, there came to him [AAH] a group of people from Iraq and they said bad things about Abo-Bakr, Omar, and Osman. When they where finished, he said to them: "Can you tell me who you are? Are you the first Immigrants [who have been driven away from their homes and their possessions that they should seek bounty from Allah and beatitude and help Allah and His Messenger - al-Ansar. Those, they are the sincere] al-Hashr 59:8." They said: No. He said: "Then you are [those who had settled in the hometown, that is, Medina, and had abided in faith before them, love those who have emigrated to them, and do not find in their breasts any need, of that which those have been given, but prefer to themselves, though they be in poverty] al-Hashr 59:9." They said: No. He said: "You have denied being of one the first two groups, and I testify that you are not of those whom Allah said about them: [those who will come after them say, ‘Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in the faith, and do not place any rancor in our hearts toward those who believe] al-Hashr 59:10. So get away from me. May Allah punish you with so and so ..." So he banished them from all three groups of believers, which Allah clarified in Sourat al-Hasher, because they wronged the companions of the the Messenger [PPBUH].
Hesham ibn Abdel-Malik went to Hajj during the caliphate of his father, and he tried hard to get to the holy "Black Stone", but he could not because of the heavy crowd. So they set a stand for him by the side of Zamzam, and he sat over there for people to look at him, with a group of the people of ash-Sham, who came with him, sitting around him. Then came sayydi Ali Zain al-Abidin [AAH], wanting to circumambulate the Ka'ba. People made a space for him until he reached the holy "Black Stone". Then a man of the people of ash-Sham said: Who is that man that people stood in awe of him, so that they stepped left and right to give way for him? Hesham said: I do not know him! - He was afraid that the people might like him. Al-Farazdaq, the famous poet, was there, so he said to the man from ash-Sham: I know him. The man said: Who is he? O poet! Al-Farazdaq answered him with a great long poem. In that poem, he described how sayydi Ali was famous for the land, people, and Ka'ba, and how he was the son of the best of all people of Allah. He also described him as the pure, noble, Allah fearing. He said that he was the ultimate of the generosity and the highest of the nobility. He said that He was so dignified that no one could speak to him unless he smiles. He went on and on describing his father; the Prophet [PPBUH] and his mother; Fatema [AAH]. He talked at a great length about his qualities and merits. That poem is so famous, it can be found in many books and is hanged on the wall of sayydi Ali's Maqam in Egypt. May Allah Accept him, his father, his grandfather, and all Ahl-al-Bait, and prayers and peace be upon sayyduna Mohammad, his family, kinship, and companions.

The birth day of sayydi Mohammad al-Baqir [AAH]

Sayydi Mohammad al-Baqir [AAH]
[No doubt, talking about them is a relief So seek them, do not be like toying] qasida 54:15 On the third of Safar of the year 57 of Hijra, Imam Mohammad al-Baqir [AAT] was born. Al-Thawry [AAT] said: He was called al-Baqir because he ripped open [in Arabic Baqar] the knowledge, got to its roots and hidden sources. His nickname is Abo-Ja'far, and he was called: al-Baqir, al-Shakir, and al-Hady, while the most famous of them is al-Baqir. One of his sayings [AAT] was: "The lightning strikes a believer and a nonbeliever, bur never someone who does Dhikr. So Dhikr Allah is the protection for the believer from calamities". His love to the companions of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]: He [AAT] used to love sayyduna Abo-Bakr as-Seddiq [AAT] and exaggerate in praising him and say: "Whoever not say as-Seddiq [the veracious], may Allah never make true any of his sayings in this worldly life and the hereafter". Once he heard about some people in Iraq who hate Abo-Bakr and Omar and clam to love Ahl-al-Bait. So he wrote to them: "I renounce anyone how hate Abo-Bakr and Omar". With these words of his, we can see how wrong are the people, who wrong the companions of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH], and how important is to respect and glorify the companions [AAT]. He [AAT] used to say: "Any pride enters the heart of someone, it cuts back of his mind, as much as that pride or more". He also used to say: "No worship is better that the chastity of the stomach or the orifice". When he laughed, he used to say: "O, Allah do not detest me". He also used to say: "Nothing in this world will help you more than being good to your fellow brothers". And he was never bored of sitting with them. He used to say: "How bad a brother can be, if he attends to you when you are rich, and abandons you when you are poor". He also used to say: "You can know the love for you in the heart of your brother, by the love for him you have in your heart".
Az-Zobair
narrated from Mohamed Muslim al-Maccay that he said: We were with
Jaber ibn Abdallah [AAT],
when came Ali ibn al-Husain [Zain-al-Abidin] with his son Mohammad
while he was still a boy [AAT].
Ali said to his son Mohammad: "kiss the head of you uncle". Mohammad
came closer to Jaber and
It was narrated that sayyduna Mohammad al-Baqir ib Ali asked Jaber ibn Abdallah [AAT], when came to him, about sayyda Aisha and what happened between her and Ali ibn Abi-Talib [AAT]. Jaber said: "One day I went to her and said to her: Do you say wrong about Ali ibn Abi-Talib [AHHF]? She bowed her head then she raised it and said: [I the gold was to be scrape off a scrapper It would be known without doubt] [We have the cheater and the pure gold and Ali among us is like the scrapper]" Jaber al-Ja'fy said: Mohammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husain said to me: "O, Jaber! My heart is occupied". I said: What is it occupied with? He said: "O, Jaber! Whoever has the true religion of Allah entered his heart, he will be busy with it from anything else. O, Jaber! This worldly life, what is it? and what could it be? Could it be other than a ride you rode, a dress you dressed, or a woman you had? O, Jaber! The believers were not reassured of the worldly life because it is will terminate, and they were not assured of the hereafter because of its horrors. The Allah fearing people are the easiest of the people of the worldly life in their provisions and the most helping for you: if you forget they remind you and if you remember the aid you. Are not they always saying Allah's truth and standing for Allah's rights. So make this worldly life as a house you came to, then left off, or like some money you got in a dream then you woke up with nothing with you. And watch Allah in what he gave you of His religion and wisdom". In the book of Strewing the Pearls by Abi-Sa'id Mansour ibn al-Husain, that Mohammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husain said to his son Ja'far as-Sadiq: "O, son! Allah has hidden three thing in three things: He Hid His acceptance in His obedience, so you never belittle any act of obedience because it might cause His acceptance. He hid His discontent in His disobedience, so you never belittle any act of disobedience because it might cause His discontent. He, also, hid His saints amongst His creatures, so you never despise anyone because he might be that saint". May Allah accept him and all Ahl-al-Bait, out masters, and prayers and peace be upon sayyduna Mohammad and his family and companions.

The birthday of sayyduna Mohammad, the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]

Describe to me the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]!
What to do if the birthday of the Beloved came, and came to you your child and asked you: Describe to me the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]? Or what to do to yourself as you read for many authors, know about them, how they look, and where to look it over, however you still do not know the human looks of Him [PPBUH]? And if you, me and everyone stay like that, what will happen in the future, how can we meet him in the hereafter, and how come we do not know about our Beloved, the Gift of Mercy, and the Gracious Merciful to the believers [PPBUH]? For all these questions and specifically in the memory of the birthday of the Beloved [PPBUH]; I wanted to give you these words about the perfection of the creation of the human build of our Prophet [PPBUH], so that it may remind whoever forgot or tell how does not know; how was no one close to our Prophet [PPBUH] in His human creation. The honorable true self of the Prophet [PPBUH] is the most beautiful, the most perfect, the purest, the most enlighten, and the best of all selves. His figure is the best, the most beautiful, the most purified of all figures. In the Hadith that He was more handsome than the prophet Yusuf [PBUH]. Ibn Asaker narrated, in al-Tahzeib, from sayyda Aisha [AAH]; that she was with the Prophet [PPBUH] on his bed, one night, when she dropped a needle. She unveiled the face of the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH], hence she found it on the light of His forehead [PPBUH].
The Messenger of Allah [PPBUH] was (stately dignified), which means that He was stately in Himself, and dignified in the eyes and hearts of whoever sees Him. That was very much obvious, so that, no matter how stubborn the one who sees Him, he can not but regards Him as great. (His face was pearl shining) i.e. lighting and shining like pearls. His describer said: "I never saw anyone better than the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH], as if the sun is running in His face. His face, when shining, was like a piece of the moon". You need to know that in thier desert community, the only thing shining back there was the moon. (Like a moon in the night of completion) i.e. on the 14th night of the month, when the moon becomes complete. His describer said: "I have never seen anyone like Him before or after Him. (Taller than the medium height man [Rab'a]) it means that He was nearer to the tall man, which nicer. (and shorter than the lofty man) the lofty man is a one with excessive height and slimness. He was described as "Rab'a", however, when he walks with two tall men he would be as tall as they are, but when He leaves them, He would be described as "Rab'a". (with a great head) which is praised, as it is a sign of perfection and awareness. (His hair was Ragel) i.e. it was neither so curly nor so smooth. (if His hair parts, He parts it) i.e. if His hair accepts to be parted, like when it is has been washed, He would part it, i.e. in halves; one half to the left and one the right. And if it could not be easily parted he would leave it hanging over His forehead. So it is alright if you part your hair or leave it, but it is better to part it as that is what the Prophet [PPBUH] used to do, in opposition to the Jews.
(His color was blush-pink) which is the shining white with traces of redness. I.e. He was neither as white as albino, nor the dark black, but His whiteness was mixed with blush-pink color, What was known about His color is the whiteness, especially what is under His clothes. (wide forehead) i.e. wide in height and width. (His eyebrows was heavy and shoved) i.e. it was bend and heavy haired as if they are going to be connected. (but without being connected) i.e. His eyebrows became thin when they come closer to each other. (they had a vein running between them, which used to be filled when he gets angry) which means that He had a perfect power for anger which he used to defend Islam. (He had hooked nose) it was long nose with little convexity in the middle and a small tip. (He had a light over His nose, which could be seen, for an inattentive looker, as high nosed) i.e. He was not High nosed which is when the nose is straight but has a flatness on its top. However the light coming out of it would make it seem so for some someone who is not regarding attentively. (He had heavy beard); it had heavy hair but was rounded and not tall. (He was black-eyed) with wide eyes. (His cheeks were straight) i.e. with no protrusion or raise. (strong mouth) i.e. wide enough to be eloquent and that was praised for an Arab male rather than for a female.
(His chest hair was thin) like a line going to the belly button. (His nick was like that of a doll and as pure as silver) i.e. it was similar to an ivory sculptured painting in its straightness, good looking, perfection, and shining. (He was gentle-looking) i.e. His appearance was proportionate in limbs and organs and handsomely created. (He had full firm body) i.e. He was not so fat and His body was not flabby. (flat stomach and chest) i.e. His stomach was equal to His chest with no protrusion. (long forearm, and wide hand) His hand was wide in creation and in the sense of giving, which is a sign of generosity. (His hands and feet were Shathn) i.e. his fingers were a bit thick but not tall, which is praised in men rather than in women. (His had running extremities) i.e. His fingers were moderately elongated with no bending. (with elongated bones) i.e. the bones like the forearms, the arms, and legs are straight and moderately long. (with hollow soles) i.e. the soles of His feet were high from the ground, which is fare from flatfoot. (smooth feet) and straight with no cracking skin. (the drops off them) i.e. when water is dropped on them it drops off them quickly. (if He moves he is as if detached from the ground) i.e. when he walks he moves his legs strongly as would the strong willed courageous men. (His steps is more like sway) i.e. He would nicely swing to the right and left. (He walks with tranquility) i.e. He walks smoothly, firmly, calmly, and humbly, which means that He would not hit the ground with His legs or walks proudly. (He walks with prompt steps) He walks with speedy and wide steps, though calm but quick as if the ground is folded for beneath Him. Abo-Hurayra said: "we were making effort to keep up with Him while He was walking normally". (if He walks, it was as if He is going down the hill). (if He turns, He turns as a whole) i.e. with all His parts, not just with His head and nick, out of care and concern. (casting down His eyes) as would the meditating man busy with His Lord and with the hereafter. (His looks to the ground were longer than to the sky) i.e. He was more thinking and considering while looking to the sky would not help His focusing, meditation, and devoutness. (the majority of His looking is by observation); He would look with the back of His eyes when talking.
(He would start whoever meets Him with the Salam greeting) even with boys, to teach them, i.e. He would start whoever meets Him from His people with the greetings out of perfect humbleness, although He was their master. (He was continuously sad, always thinking, restless, would not speak unless needed, and with long silence. He begins and ends His speech with radiance, talks with total control over speech keys, precise-talking with no extra nor less, and gentle talking with no rudeness. He was never controlling, praising the gift, never dispraising anything, would never dispraise or praise a taste, and never angry for Himself or fighting for it. He points with His whole hand. If He wonders He would turn His hand upside down. He would talk with His hand, hitting, with His right thumb, the palm of His left hand. If He gets angry, He turns away. If He is delighted, He would cast his eyes down. The majority of His laughter was smiling. His mouth opens for cloud grains). This was a comprehensive Hadith about the description of the beauty of His human creation characteristics and the perfection of His growth and appearance. People of wisdom and sight agreed that each of these characteristics indicates a meaning of perfection, so He is the most perfect created figure of Allah. As He [PPBUH] is the first existing creature, the ultimate in beauty and brightness. So whoever gets closer to this creation would be more perfect than all others. Allah has made Him this way as a sign of His honorable true self in figure and in essence. One of His great companions is the poet Hassan ibn Thabit [AAH] who is supported with the Holly Spirit according to the Hadith of the Prophet [PPBUH]. He told us about the perfection of the Prophet's [PPBUH]: [Better than You, my eyes never saw More beautiful than You, women never gave birth to] [You have been created with no fault As if You have been created as You wanted] [Prayers be upon you as much as come The years and ages or as mornings follow nights] Sheikh al-Magzoub [AAH] said about His perfect true self [PPBUH]: [Peace be upon the true self of the Prophet Mohammad O how beautiful it is, with total perfection of beauty] Sayydi Omar ibn al-Farid [AAH] said also about His flawless creation: [As all His describers got creative in His praising To the end of time, there will still be some un-described] Imam Fakhreddin was overwhelmed with His beauty, so that he could not describe it, so he said: [The beauty is overwhelming, so that the inner souls is moaning And over my moaning the driving guides are moaning]

sayyda Fatima an-Nabawiya [AAH]
It was narrated from the Prophet [PPBUH], the guide for all nations and the best of all humans, that He said: (Your Lord Almighty has days for gifts in the days of your life so get exposed to it, as you may get a gift of it, with which you will never be unhappy). Tabarany in the middle and big. We are having these days a great gift that we should be exposed to, as the Prophet [PPBUH] said. These gifted days are the memory of the Mawlid of sayyda Fatima an-Nabawiya [AAH]. She is one of the branches of the Mohammadian tree which casted its leaves over the nation of the Beloved [PPBUH], and it will keep casting its leaves to the end of days, when it will cast the great expected Mohammad al-Mahdy [AAH], the one who will make mending to countries and people.
She [AAH] is sayyda Fatima daughter of Mawlana Imam al-Husain [AAH] the grandson and basil of the Prophet [PPBUH]. Her mother is Om-Ishaq bent Talha ibn Obayd-Allah al-Taymiya. al-Katib al-Baghdady and also in "the Important chapters". Sayyda Fatima got married to her cousin sayyduna al-Hasan the double son of Mawlana Imam al-Hasan, her uncle [AAT]. Sha gave birth to Abullah who was called "the Pure" because of the fact of being descendant from both Hasans [AAT] from both his parents [AAT]. He looked very similar to the Prophet [PPBUH] and he was the sheikh of bani Hashim [the tribe of the Prophet PPBUH]. He was once asked: "Why have you become the best of the people". He said: "Because all people wanted to become some of us, and we do not want to be anyone else". He had a strong self, courage, and piety. Sayyda Fatima an-Nabawiya also gave birth to two more sons from sayyduna al-Hasan the double. They were: Ibrahim al-Qamar [the Moon] and al-Hasan the treble. They both had descendants. When sayyduna al-Hasan the double [AAH] died, she got married to Abdullah ibn Amro ibn Osman ibn Affan [AAT], and she gave him Mohamed and al-Qasim. In the book of "al-Aghany [the Songs]": Al-Hasan the double [al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan] went to his uncle Imam al-Husain ibn Ali ibn Abi-Talib [AAT] and asked to marry one of his daughters. Imam al-Husain said to him: "O, my nephew, I was waiting for you to do so. Come with me". He took him to his home to let him choose between his two daughters, Fatima and Sakina. Some say that he choose Fatima, but Abdullah ibn Mosa said that he was shy, so his uncle Imam al-Husain said to him: "I choose for you Fatima, as she much resembles my mother Fatima daughter of the Prophet [PPBUH]". also in "the Important chapters" and in "the history of al-Baghdady" narrated by az-Zubayr ibn Bakkar.
In the book of "the Important Chapters": When sayyduna al-Hasan, the double, died, his wife sayyda Fatima an-Nabawiya [AAH] all, pitched a large tent over his grave. She stayed there, where she fated all her mornings and prayed all her nights. She was like the beautiful eyed maidens of the paradise. On new year's eve she told her servants to undo the tent when the night fell. When they undid it, they heard a voice saying: Did they find what lost. Another voice answered: No, they got despaired, so they left. Sayyda Fatima an-Nabawiya was very generous. In "the Important Chapters", it was mentioned that after the martyrdom of her father Mawlana Imam al-Husain, an honest man, from ash-Sham, was sent to accompany them to Medina. When they entered Medina, sayyda Fatima an-Nabawiya said to her sister sayyda Sakina: "That man was kind to us, can you give him something"? sayyda Sakina said: "By Allah, we do not have any money to give him except this jewelry". Sayyda Fatima said to her: "Them do it", so sayyda Sakina sent him two bracelets and two bangles. But he did not accept them, and said: If I did what I did seeking the worldly life, then this would be a lot more than I deserve. But I swear to Allah that I only did that because of your relation to the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH].
From her famous sayings: "By Allah, no one of the impudent people had any happiness or joy out of his dirtiness, unless it was attained by the righteous people while covered with the beautiful cover of Allah". She passed away in the year 116 H as mentioned in the History books. One of the righteous people said: [O, Fatima, accept me and give me a look to give me happiness] [Take my hand and do not leave me still As your prestige, o, one with pure grandfathers] [has merits in the highness and glory]
